We reported earlier on a revival that broke out in the midst of the study, "Prayer the Heartbeat of the Church."

Here is a report from the pastor, Jeff Wolf.

On November 16, 2008, God came.

The House of Restoration Worship Center, a Church of God congregation in Milford, Ohio, began the church year in the fall with a 21-day season of fasting and prayer. Earlier, in the spring, God had brought a season of repentance. We planned to close the year with another 21-day fast, leading up to a scheduled revival meeting in November.

Our strategic prayer emphasis included a study of "Prayer - The Heartbeat of the Church." We purchased the study materials and engrossed ourselves in the study and practice of prayer. Three weeks into the series, we began a revival with Evangelist Joel Talley. We would soon realize that this was not just another series of meetings. This was true revival. God had come!

The four-day meeting has become an on-going revival, or better yet, a new way of life. From the first service, the presence of the Lord descended, and we knew that this was bigger than we realized. There was something supernaturally unique about the way God was moving. Over four months later, we are still in revival, meeting several nights a week.

Here is a sample of what is happening. First, unbelievers are being converted. Believers are being baptized in the Holy Spirit. Marriages have been reconciled. People with aught between them have practiced forgiveness and experienced healing. Countless divine healings have occurred, including cancer and leukemia disappearing. Others have received financial miracles including receiving unexpected raises, bonuses and promotions. Drunks have shown up drunk and left sober. Many have been delivered from bondage and addiction. The lukewarm have become white hot. People that have been on the periphery of the church for years have become ablaze with God's power and joined the remnant core. God has begun speaking to His people in dreams and visions like never before. The list goes on and on.

The revival continued through Thanksgiving, Christmas and the New Year at the jeering and disbelief of skeptics. We then stopped announcing that the revival would continue and informed the people that if the revival was to come to a close we would let them know. We had stopped looking for the end of the outpouring, and began looking for the acceleration of the outpouring.

We are not "having" a revival. We are "living" in revival. It has become a way of life.

Experiencing this outpouring has required us to make sacrifices. While going after God in such an intense way, other things of life seem less important. People are rearranging work schedules, sporting events, and other extracurricular activities so they can attend as many services as possible. I have never seen anything like it in my life. This is not man driven. Only God can impact lives, priorities and attitudes in this way. After four months, 5 services a week, people have actually stated that we aren't having church enough! God's people are hungry for the presence and power of God.

Many ask skeptically, "Are still having revival?" My response is always the same. "I can't express it in words. You have to come and experience it for yourself." Every night we come not knowing what the Lord will do next. The only thing that is predictable is that God is going to show up in each service in an intense way. Many nights, people lay on their faces before the Lord, mostly because the glory is so heavy that people cannot stand. Other nights, the congregation can be heard, literally from the street, shouting, rejoicing and celebrating.

Often we lose track of time and find ourselves sitting in His presence late into the night. Countless times we have dismissed the service only to find that no one would leave. People sit in the atmosphere of His presence until they just have to go. On a couple of occasions, after the congregation had left the sanctuary, some were found shouting, dancing and speaking in tongues in the parking lot. On and on I could write of the wondrous works of the Lord in our midst.

A month into the revival, we began a live video webcast of every service. We receive messages from all over the country from those who are regular viewers of the outpouring. Many email and call, stating that they receive from the Lord while watching, and can feel His presence. I received an email just last week that stated a wind could be heard blowing over the webcast during the worship service. God is doing a supernatural work that has validated this revival in the hearts and minds of people.

In December, I felt compelled to go to Brownsville Assembly. I sensed that the Lord was setting me up for a Jeremiah 18 moment. I never attended the revival at Brownsville and was unsure why the Lord wanted to speak to me at that place. I put off going for two months, and finally gave in. I arrived in Pensacola without making an appointment. I wasn't even sure if I would be able to get into the building. The Lord had made the appointment for me. The receptionist had an employee lead me to the sanctuary. I was left to the privacy of that historic place for an hour and a half. I walked, prayed, meditated and took it all in. I said, "Lord, I'm here. What do you want to say to me?" The Lord told me - "Look up."

Two words jumped off a graphic on the front wall - "The Remnant." The Lord said, "Everything that I have done at the House of Restoration has been for the healing and preparation of the remnant, for the multitude is coming! God gave me a billboard in the sanctuary where one of the greatest revivals of our time took place! I returned with new resolve that the revival at the House of Restoration is bigger than me, bigger than our church, and that I am not in control of the outcome. In fact, that the best is yet to come.

The outpouring has not come without a price. Me, the evangelist, two staff pastors have experience direct encounters with enemy. Our children, our bodies and our minds have met this oppression. We have not wavered, knowing that we are in the center of God's will and God's river. We are going to stay in this season of revival, stand in this river, as long as it flows.
